Testimonials
Beam Suntory was fortunate to invite Daniel for a 1.5 hour workshop themed as “From Managers to Leaders” for 21 People Managers across the region.
In the last few months, Daniel was very humble, genuine, and passionate in his field of work and willing go the extra mile to understand the company’s needs and participants’ sentiments.
For this workshop, many of the participants were able to glean meaningful insights for their reflections on their own leadership journey, and inspired to take positive action, including signing up for additional coaching sessions with Daniel.

Often times, leadership training focuses on helping (existing) leaders to further develop, but we must not neglect the (current) independent contributors whom one day will be the leader of tomorrow.
Throughout the 5 fortnight sessions with the author of "First Time Leadership" book by Daniel Lee, I learnt that leadership is about bringing others to success, and we should also have our own blend of leadership when we lead.
Do reach out to him.

The audience loved Daniel Lee's presentation during the GCA National Congress #1 Melbourne, on 21 February 2022.
Via zoom from Singapore, Daniel presented initially on First Time Leadership, before engaging live with 2 emerging leaders from the gymnastics club community.
The latter entailed working through with them on a leadership matter that they were seeking help on. The session concluded with Q&A with the audience.
Daniel was most professional (including pre-event); provided valuable, relevant information; and navigated the challenges of such a live format magnificently.

SAPE engaged Daniel to be our emcee for our Singapore Association for Private Education (SAPE) conference on 22 Sep 2022.
He kicked off our conference with an impactful talk on leadership, sharing that everyone is born with the capability to be leaders, but that few were willing to be made into one.
He tied the topics of each speaker so the transition was seamless, engaged the audience throughout, and at one point got everyone to practice shadow boxing to reenergise the room.
Daniel was very professional, easy to work with, and provided valuable, relevant inputs from the moment we decided to work with him.

Daniel Lee
First Time Leadership is created by Daniel Lee (Lead researcher and Author) and Avi Liran (Co-author of the First Time Leadership book) Daniel was an aspiring leader responsible for a training budget of USD 5 million by 2015.
He thought he was one step away from being a First Time Leader when one day he was told by his manager that he needed to show ‘more leadership’.
Not knowing exactly what that meant, it was this starting point for his fascination with leadership, and a resolve to find his own answers. With the support of his co-author, Avi, that fascination would lead him to go on a 20 months journey to learn the specific traits of successful leadership.
He now spends his time focused on spreading the insights from that research in his talks, webinars, and workshops.
